Krabbe UK is a registered charity founded in 2018 and run entirely by volunteers, including family members who have first-hand experience of caring for a child or family member with Globoid Cell Leukodystrophy otherwise known as Krabbe Disease

We are working to relieve sickness and preserve and protect the health of children and adults suffering from Krabbe Disease in the United Kingdom.

We aim to do this by providing practical support and advice to families affected by Krabbe disease, and by advocating and funding research into the illness.

We were originally known as, Save Babies Through Screening Foundation UK, which was launched in 2008.
